Terms of service

Effective: August 21, 2026

These are the terms for using Vynaris, an LLM inference gateway. By creating an account or using the API, you agree to them. Read on for the details — or the short version below if you're in a hurry.

The short version

The service

Vynaris is an inference gateway and model-hosting service. You send requests to api.vynaris.com and we route them to third-party inference providers or to private model services operated for Vynaris. We log request metadata (model used, token counts, cost, latency) and show it to you in your dashboard. If you explicitly enable content storage for an API key, we also store complete request and response payloads for requests made with that key. We use them for dashboard debugging, quality-refund review, evaluation, and routing improvements. We bill the cost of each request against your prepaid balance.

The exception is each model explicitly identified on our hosted reduced-refusal model pages: Vynaris does not persist prompt or response bodies for those model IDs, even when content storage is enabled on the API key. Operational and billing metadata is still retained. When a request is routed to an external provider, that provider's own terms and acceptable-use policies also apply to you.

Accounts and API keys

You can sign up with email and password, or with GitHub or Google. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secret. Any usage that happens under your API key is billed to your account, whether or not you authorized it — so if a key leaks, rotate it immediately.

Plans, prepaid credits, and billing

Vynaris runs on prepaid credits. You can add them with a one-time top-up or a monthly plan. Each successful plan charge adds the plan's stated USD amount to your balance. Plan credit rolls over, does not expire while your account remains open, and remains available after cancellation.

Plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can manage or cancel in the billing portal. Plan changes take effect on the next billing date without proration. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not remove existing credit. If your balance reaches zero, API requests stop until another plan payment succeeds or you add a top-up. We do not bill usage overages.

For routed provider models, we deduct the original provider pricing plus a 1% convenience fee as you use the API (3% on your first $500 of usage each month, 1% on everything beyond it). Vynaris-hosted models are billed at their published per-token retail rates. One-time top-ups are offered in $50, $100, $250, and $500 amounts. A successful purchase of at least $50 in API credit qualifies an account for hosted reduced-refusal models. Access remains available as that balance is used and stops at zero like other prepaid usage. Reversed or refunded payments do not count toward qualification. Unused credits are refundable on request, minus payment-processing fees.

Payments are processed by our payment partner, acting as merchant of record. Depending on availability, checkout may offer cards, digital wallets, local bank payments, buy-now-pay-later services, and supported stablecoins (currently USDC, USDP, and USDG). We don't handle or store card numbers or wallet private keys.

You can request a refund of your paid balance at any time. We'll refund it minus any payment-processing fees already incurred on the original charge. Any promotional credit previously issued is not refundable and can't be transferred, exchanged for cash, or moved between accounts.

Completed requests routed with model="auto" may qualify for a quality refund when the request and response were stored and you submit useful failure feedback within the stated reporting window. Quality refunds are issued as Vynaris credit, are limited to one per request, and may be queued for review under fair-use limits. Machine-detected technical failures are credited automatically when a usage charge exists.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vynaris to:

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we suspend your account for reasons other than fraud or illegal activity, we'll refund your remaining paid balance where the law allows it.

We respond to valid legal process and cooperate with lawful investigations. Because hosted reduced-refusal request and response bodies are not retained, we cannot produce content we do not have; account, billing, security, and request metadata may be preserved or disclosed when legally required.

Service provided "as is"

Vynaris's self-serve plan doesn't come with an uptime SLA. We route to third-party model providers, and those providers can change, degrade, or go down without notice — we pass that risk along transparently, but we can't control it. Model outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You're responsible for how you use them.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vynaris's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, even if we've been told they might happen.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we'll email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vynaris after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

Vynaris is operated by a sole proprietor based in India. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute that can't be resolved directly will go to the courts of Gujarat, India.
